The Philadelphia Eagles entered Tuesday nights game against the Minnesota Vikings with a chance at the No. 2 seed in the NFC Playoffs. The Eagles had been battling the Chicago Bears for that coveted No. 2 seed and first-round bye.
After losing to a Minnesota team with a wide receiver playing quarterback, the Eagles are now locked into the No. 3 seed and Chicago is guaranteed a first-round bye. What does this have to do with the Giants you might ask? Well…
Chicago plays on the road against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The Giants are on the road in Washington against the Redskins. For New York to make the playoffs, they need to combine a win of their own with a Chicago win over Green Bay.
If Green Bay wins, the Giants are out.
