New York Jets Coach Rex Ryan Undergoes Weight-Loss Surgery

According to a report by the New York Daily News, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan underwent a lap-band weight-loss surgery on Saturday.
His stomach has been reduced in size to that of a 16-year old.
How might this affect the New York Jets?
They certainly won't get to hear anymore fat jokes, many of which Ryan makes up himself.
Coach Ryan has always made jokes about his weight, including comments after a photo of him shirtless, while changing into a Carolina Hurricanes jersey for a Florida-Carolina NHL game last month aired on television and made it's way around the Internet.
The defensive-minded head coach even went as far as to blame his weight on why the Atlanta Falcons didn't hire him after the 2007 season.
Sports heads from all around the country have poked fun at the rotund coach for his lack of control when it comes to eating.
They won't be laughing soon.
