New York Jets NFL Preseason Opener: Five Things to Watch For

Shortly after his Jets lost the 2010 AFC Championship Game to the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Rex Ryan addressed the New York media and stated,
"Let's come back hungrier than ever," he said. "Let's go take this thing. Let's try to get a home game. Let's play this game in front of our fans and our stadium, the New Jets Stadium. That is going to be the name of it when we play in it. I can't wait. We get our stadium and we are not the visitors in our stadium. This is our stadium. We are the biggest show in town and that's what it's going to be."
That show starts on Monday night, when the New York Jets kick off their preseason when they face their co-tenant and rival, the New York Giants, in what will become the first American football game ever held at New Meadowlands Stadium. Although the Giants will be considered the home team, Ryan has made it pretty clear whom he feels is worthy of top billing in the new stadium.
