New York Jets: The Road is the Best Place to Get Back Into the Win Column

As the New York Jets continue to play .500 football at the New Meadowlands it looks like they are more likely to break a losing streak on the road.
So the Jets (5-2) will be traveling to Detroit for a 1 p.m. EST kickoff to see if they can end the first half of the season at 6-2 or drop a second straight game and fall to 5-3 after eight games.
The Detroit Lions are in last place at 2-5 but played well last week to pick up win their second win in three games.
With 23 sacks and defensive sensation Ndamukong Suh, the Lions front four will be a formidable opponent for Nick Mangold and the Jets offensive line.
The Jets will bring to Detroit the fourth-best rushing offense in the NFL while the Lions are just 27th against the ground game. 
A high dosage of LaDainian Tomlinson and Shonn Greene mixed in with short passing and an emphasis on first downs should be teh game day strategy for the Monsters of the Meadowlands.
