NFL Draft 2010: Quarterback John Skelton Is a Great Fit for Cleveland Browns

The Browns have been linked to Sam Bradford, Jimmy Clausen, Colt Mccoy, and Mike Kafka in advance of the upcoming NFL draft. There is one prospect flying under the radar who would be an excellent fit for the West Coast hybrid offense the Browns are implementing next year.
John Skelton is a senior quarterback from Fordham college who was born in El Paso Texas. While there he starred at Burges high school.

At John Skelton's pro-day he impressed the scouts in a variety of ways. He showed NFL caliber mobility, threw on the run well, and threw tight spirals all day long. The velocity on his passes was impressive and he maintained consistent mechanics and delivery. At 6'5" 243 pounds, he has the size offensive coordinators crave and will be able to take a pounding at the NFL level. Despite his size, he proved his athleticism by running a 4.83 40 and registering a 33 inch vertical leap. These numbers are especially impressive for a man of his size.
