2011 NFL Draft: Look for the Browns to Provide Colt McCoy With a New Weapon
Despite the 5-11 record from last season, the Browns took some serious strides in the first season of the Mike Holmgren era.
Last year's first round selection CB Joe Haden didn't exactly have the impact that the team would have liked, but third round QB Colt McCoy was a very pleasant surprise. After being forced into duty because of injuries to both Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace, McCoy stepped under center and showed remarkable poise and talent. Just imagine what he could do if given legitimate receiving options.
AJ Green makes perfect sense for Cleveland. A big, strong and physical wide receiver, Green's speed is rather impressive given his 6'4 frame. Additionally, he is a precise route-runner who has great hands and might even make Browns fans effectively forget about the days of Braylon Edwards and his oopsies that seemed to plague him throughout his tenure in Cleveland.
