NFL Draft 2011: Dallas Cowboys Rumors, News, & Speculation

If ever there was a time for Dallas to have a good draft, it's now.
The Cowboys used to be the gold standard when it came to the NFL draft, but have hit the skids in recent years. Now, Dallas enters this year's draft with plenty of needs and the chance to find some incredible talent at some key positions.
For the longest time many have speculated and predicted that Dallas would take Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara with the ninth pick, but in the past month there have been rumors that other teams are calling about the pick and that Dallas could go with an offensive tackle instead.
Tackle is a position that needs to be addressed but when your pass defense got torched the way Dallas' did last season, that tells you something needs to change.
Of course, having Rob Ryan here as the new defensive coordinator will help, but that's only part of the solution. If you can draft someone who can contribute immediately in the secondary, why wouldn't you grab him?
