NFL Draft 2011: Jason Garrett Watches Tyron Smith at USC Pro Day

The USC offensive tackle looked impressive
Tyron Smith definitely didn't hurt himself during USC's Pro Day today.
The USC offensive tackle, who could potentially be the first offensive lineman taken in the upcoming NFL Draft, measured at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, according to NFL.com's Bucky Brooks. Smith is currently being predicted on many mock drafts to be selected by Dallas with the ninth pick.
Brooks reports that Smith ran the 40-yard dash in 4.98 seconds (not bad for a lineman), had a broad jump of 9-1 and did 31 repetitions on the bench press at 225 pounds.
"Smith showed outstanding strength and power in run drills," Brooks writes. "He explodes into defenders upon contact and forcefully moves them off the ball. His natural power and explosiveness were his most impressive attributes, and he has the potential to be a dominant force as a run blocker."
