NFL Draft 2011 Denver Broncos Will Build Strong Defensive Line
Every mocker knows the Denver Broncos will select a defensive player, the only question—which one?
The Broncos have several needs across the defensive and sitting atop the draft for the AFC, they essentially have the pick of the litter between one of Auburn’s Nick Fairley, Alabama’s Marcell Dareus, LSU’s Patrick Peterson and Texas A&M’s Von Miller.
According Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post, the head coach John Fox is prepared to use potentially elite pass-rusher Elvis Dumervil as an every down defensive end.
Although many would now like to pencil cornerback Patrick Peterson at No. 2, the dark cloud hovering over the NFL actually allowed Denver to retain the services of their best cornerback, Champ Bailey.
