NFL Draft Grades 2010: Chicago Bears Report Card

The Chicago Bears' 2009 draft, which was depleted after trading for Jay Cutler, made little to no noise in its first season, outside of Johnny Knox. Jarron Gilbert and Henry Melton, the "top" picks, saw little and no playing time, respectively.
Once again, missing a 1st round pick to the Cutler trade and their 2nd from Gaines Adams, who tragically passed away, the Bears were once again short on ammunition this weekend.
75. Major Wright, S, Florida
Here's a guy who said when he was selected by the Bears: "I literally ran down the street and just laid in the middle and started crying." I understand how emotional this process is, but to here this guy say that speaks volumes of his passion for the game.
To me, he's the best pure free safety on the roster. He has the opportunity to come in and play immediately. He's a good hitter and very good athlete.
Grade: A-
