NFL Draft Rumors Hears the New England Patriots' Phones are Ringing Once Again
Coach Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots already own six picks in the first 92 selections, a feat acquired over the past two years that has involved the trading of Randy Moss (Minnesota's third round), Richard Seymour (Oakland's first round) and the drafting of Armanti Edwards last year (Carolina's second round).
With two picks in each of the first three rounds we know we can expect some more wheeling and dealing from the Pats, and we know that their typical moves including stocking up for next year in addition to the current year.
However, this year has a bit of a twist.
First, without a CBA there can be no player movement, so Belichick is dealing solely with draft picks.
Second, the Patriots actually have a lot of needs to fill in this draft, and they have to find some talent if they want to be able to win their first playoff game since AFC Championship Game in 2008.
