NFL: Draft Rumors, Troy Polamalu, Ryan Mallett and Other News

NFL draft rumors are blowing up all over the place as the national sports press turns into the British tabloids in regards to this year's draft prospects.
Nowhere is that more obvious than with Ryan Mallett, who was the subject of an ugly report yesterday about what he might have done the night before his meeting with the Carolina Panthers. The reports were denied by both sides, but it shows you the speed at which the Internet works.
Since it is the offseason and we have a lockout, things like Troy Polamalu's hair and jersey sales remain in the news, so I will do my best to treat these stories as fodder fit only to be mocked.
We are still waiting for spring here in most of the Northeast, so hopefully it is warmer where you are. Thanks for stopping by as I run down all of the day's headlines.
