NFL: Firecracker Dud, the 2010 Dallas Cowboys

It’s almost like Jerry Jones gathered the whole world together to watch his creation.
The 2010 Dallas Cowboys were supposed to be poised to make a Super Bowl run and do what no other team had ever done: Play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
But as Mr. Jones knelt down to light the fuse on his team, nothing happened. The crowd waited and there was nothing.
Look at Pittsburgh, New England, NY Jets and Green Bay: Tough, play hard, "we are going to win no matter what" teams.
Less can be said for the Dallas Cowboys.
At times, they played with little motivation and certainty lacked the toughness they had under former coach Jimmy Johnson. I really think that head coach Jason Garrett has a chance to raise this team from mediocrity, but it will take several personnel moves and a major change of thinking to do that.
Garrett had his team playing hard the second half of the season and that is a credit to his coaching, but look for the Boys to shake up the ros...
