NFL Honors 2016: Award Winners, Voting Results and Twitter Reaction

It was inevitable, but Cam Newton is officially the best player of the 2015 NFL season.
The Carolina Panthers quarterback was named the Associated Press' Most Valuable Player and was named the AP's Offensive Player of the Year at the 2016 NFL Honors ceremony on Saturday.
Here's a complete rundown of the award winners as well as some reaction from the Twitterverse on some of the notable winners.
 
Big Night for Cam Newton The best player on the best team went away with the best award.  
Newton won his first MVP trophy in near-unanimous fashion by receiving 48 of the possible 50 votes. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer both tied for second with one vote apiece.
The Panthers tweeted this out in honor of the franchise's first MVP:
Newton also became the first African-American quarterback since Steve McNair to be named the league's MVP, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
