Unsurprisingly, Peyton Manning has just been named the Most Valuable Player for the 2013 NFL campaign, per CBS Sports' Will Brinson. He was the favorite to lock it up since his seven-touchdown explosion in Week 1, and he followed through with arguably the best statistical outing in league history.
However, it’s now time to think about next year and the odds for other candidates to win—even if it’s close to impossible to picture anyone overtaking him at this juncture.
While the sportsbook won’t offer official odds for some time, it’s still a worthwhile endeavor to start planning for next year and consider who might be in the running if Manning is not shattering records.
