NFL Picks Week 8: Denver Broncos and More Week 7 Winners That Will Fall

After a week filled with close, low-scoring finishes, some teams will be able to build on their momentum and pull out another win on Sunday. This trio, however, will come back to earth after beating subpar opponents in Week 7:
 
Denver Broncos (vs. Detroit)
The rumors of Tim Tebow raising the dead are greatly exaggerated. Despite last week’s surprising comeback against lowly Miami, the Broncos’ newly-minted starting QB isn’t going to turn Denver into a contending team.
Even playing at home, the Broncos will come back to earth in this week’s showdown with Detroit. The Lions have had a week to acclimate to the loss of Jahvid Best and the Detroit passing game, and with or without injured QB Matthew Stafford, will put up too many points for Tebow to match.
