NFL Playoff Predictions: Baltimore Ravens (-3) at Kansas City Chiefs
The fact that the Chiefs are a three-point underdog in their own house, where they went 7-1 this season, seems like a blatant lack of respect.
But the Ravens earned it. They played a very tough schedule, and three of their four losses were to arguably the best teams in football in the Patriots, Steelers, and Falcons.
Once again, the Ravens were successful mainly because of their defense. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed may be getting up there in years, but they still anchored a unit that was third in points allowed and fifth against the rush.
The latter factoid will come especially in handy against the Chiefs, who led the NFL in rushing with 164.2 rushing yards per game. But it is absolutely imperative that the Ravens don't underestimate Kansas City's passing attack, which is of course made dangerous by Matt Cassel's rapport with Dwayne Bowe.
