NFL Playoff Predictions: New Orleans Saints (-10) at Seattle Seahawks
It's nearly time to stop bitching about the fact that the 7-9 Seahawks are in the playoffs at all, as the NFL's rule that all fans must shut up at kickoff bears a nasty penalty.
Okay, I of course made that up, but you get the point.
On paper, this is a matchup that almost doesn't seem fair. The Saints the defending champs, and already defeated the Seahawks this season by a convincing score of 34-19. They also have the NFC's leading passer in Drew Brees, and one of the more underrated defenses in the league.
But the good news for the Seahawks is that they have the home field advantage (it boggles the mind), and they will also have Matt Hasselbeck under center once again, and it must not be forgotten that he torched the Saints for a season-high 366 yards.
And this is probably neither here nor there as far as this Saints team is concerned, but the Saints are 0-3 all time in road playoff games. A...
