NFL Playoff Schedule 2011 will find the NFC's number one seed, Atlanta Falcons, hosting the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, January 15th.
Under Head Coach, Mike Smith, the Falcons have been one of the NFL's best home teams. They were 7-1 at home this season and they did not lose a game at home until falling to the defending champion Saints, 14-17 in Week 16.
This game will be a rematch of a great Week 9 contest that saw the Falcons defend their home turf with a narrow 20-17 victory. The Falcons were out-gained in that game 344 yards to 177. They were able to walk away victorious in a late Matt Bryant fourth quarter field goal.
The Falcons will look to get Roddy White more than the 49 yards he had in their first meeting and the Packers will look to convert on more of their scoring opportunities.
I think it is safe to assume there will be similar excitement in this one. Only this time, the Packers will walk away with the victory.
