NFL Playoffs 2011: Will Falcons Mike Mularkey Be Distracted This Post-Season? The Falcons are in the driver seat in the NFC. They are the one seed and they have a first round bye, and home field advantage. They are in the perfect setting to walk into Dallas as the NFC representative.
In order to do that they will need everyone focused. That includes offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey. He’s been summoned by John Elway and the Denver Broncos to interview for the vacancy at head coach. The Falcons are on a bye week so he isn’t interfering with their preparation. Still, if Mularkey isn’t focused on the task at hand he could not only be out of the playoffs, but lose that hot ticket he has.
