NFL Predictions: Observations From Detroit Lions Camp (Photos)

The Detroit Lions held their first open to the public practice today to a substantial crowd. Those that were expecting Ndamukong Suh were disappointed, as he did not participate in the morning portion of practice. Practice was quick and crisp. What follows are a few things that I thought were worth noting. Honorable Mention: -Caleb Campbell is getting reps at middle linebacker in some formations. This was my first look at him and he is a lot faster than someone his size should be. -Dennis Northcut made a really nice diving catch in the corner of the end zone. He is looking like a player who knows his roster spot is in jeopardy. -Tony Scheffler is going to make a difference this year. He looks great and made a nice catch in the middle of the field. -Bleacher Reports’ Lions Featured Columnist John "Hammer" Farrier looks like he could step in at defensive end. The man is big.
