NFL Preseason Week Three: Pats Fall Short, St. Louis Looks Impressive

FOXBOROUGH, Mass.—Sam Bradford looked NFL-ready tonight, while the Patriots couldn't keep up with the St. Louis Rams. 
St. Louis' No. 1 overall pick, Sam Bradford, made his first ever NFL start tonight, and he was impressive. 
Cool and poised was the young gunner from Oklahoma. Bradford picked apart New England's defense for a 36-35 win in Week Three of the preseason. 
Bradford posted a 125.0 passer rating in his first NFL start while racking up 189 yards and throwing two touchdowns. Bradford looked sharp, and more importantly, looked like a leader on the field. 
On New England's side, Brady was near perfect and the running game was irrelevant. 
Brady was near perfect tonight with a 158.0 passer rating with 273 yards and three scores. 
While Brady was sharp, the Pats' running attack tallied up a shocking 28 yards and averaged a mere 2.5 yards per carry.
