NFL Rumor: Randy Moss Wants To Be a New York Jet

We’re not going to go into detail about the insanity going over in Minnesota the past few days. If you happen to have been living in a hole since Sunday (perhaps as a means of avoiding the worst World Series ever), HuffPo Sports has been doing a great job keeping track of all the action. But to sum up: Randy Moss, insane diva and Hall-of-Fame wide receiver, has recently become available.
The first half of this week has been filled with speculation over who will make a claim on the controversial wide out, and your New York Jets have been mentioned more than once.
All signs make sense: Rex Ryan‘s enjoyment of star-collecting and headline-grabbing, Woody Johnson‘s willingness to go full-throttle into “Win Now” mode and the general sense that it would come back to sting the hated New England Patriots.
