NFL Trade Rumor: Randy Moss Headed to the Dallas Cowboys?

Thinking big is a way of life for Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. For proof, all one has to do is take a look at Jones’ colossal state-of-the-art football stadium—bigger is always better in Jerry’s world.
 
But after spending $1.2 billion on the Taj Mahal of Texas, Jones needs a Super Bowl winning-team to match.
 
The latest rumor being floated out there, not only elevates the Cowboys to NFC favorites, it rectifies a draft mistake made over decade ago by America’s team.
 
Here’s the deal: If the Patriots decide to let Randy Moss go after this season, it makes perfect sense for Jones to woo the 11-year veteran with an offer he can’t refuse.
 
Bring in that hired gun to give the Cowboys true star-power and a lethal threat on the outside.  What does Jones have to lose? Roy Williams isn’t exactly filling that void. Pairing Moss with young talents like Miles Austin and Jason Witten is a smart play.
