NFL Trade Rumors: Washington Redskins Aren’t Done

With Donovan McNabb in place, the Washington Redskins still have to deal with the thorny issue of quarterback Jason Campbell.
 
Campbell certainly is reluctant to play a backup role to McNabb, and the prudent move in regard to his attitude and contract would be to move him.
 
There are several teams who would be interested in Campbell, among them the Buffalo Bills, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Carolina Panthers.
The Bills are in the midst of building a new identity, the Jaguars almost certainly will try and get a quarterback, and the Panthers cut Jake Delhomme, so there’s a void on their roster.
Campbell has not yet signed his first-round restricted tender, and the deadline for teams to sign restricted free agents is Thursday.
After April 15, the players’ rights revert back to the team and deals still can be done, but the values remain approximate. So refusing to sign a first-round tender doesn’t mean the Redskins coul...
