What you should know about Oakland: Darren McFadden was inactive last week and is listed as questionable and a game time decision. Jason Campbell will be starting at quarterback since Bruce Gradkowski is hurting. So the Raiders have a a week to figure out if they have a quarterback controversy or not.
What you should know about San Francisco: They don't want to be 0-6. Everyone is worried about the loser of the Dallas-Minnesota game falling to 1-4. Nobody wants to go six weeks into the season without a win.
Best in-game match up: Frank Gore versus the world. Alex Smith can get hot. But he can also turn the ball over at the most inopportune times. And he is hesitant. Just let the ball go! Gore is the hammer and the anchor and whatever else you want to call him. He fumbled twice last week, making it that much harder for the Niners to pull off the comeback win. They lost by three. This week Gore has to carry the team on his back.
