NFL: Will the Minnesota Vikings Consider Vince Young at Quarterback?

The Minnesota Vikings today hired former Tennessee Titans running backs coach Craig Johnson as their new quarterbacks coach. And because Johnson was once the QB coach in Tennessee, speculation is swirling that soon-to-be free agent signal-caller Vince Young will somehow follow his former coach to Minnesota.
Now, there's no evidence to prove this thought. Johnson hasn't said anything like that. But with the Vikings in the market for a starting QB, it's easy to see why the rumors have already started.
It's an intriguing possibility. But I have to say, it's probably a bad idea.
Five years ago, I thought Vince Young was going to take the NFL by storm. As I sat at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, looking back at VY's college career at the University of Texas, there is nothing you could've said to tell me this guy wasn't going to be a winner in the National Football League.
