Nick Kasa Signed by Broncos, Dan Light Cut: Latest Comments and Reaction

The Denver Broncos made a roster move ahead of their trip to Super Bowl 50, waiving tight end Dan Light and signing former Oakland Raiders tight end Nick Kasa to the practice squad Monday, per Troy Renck of the Denver Post.
Light tweeted this out after the Broncos waived him, one day after punching their ticket to the big game Feb. 7 at Levi's Stadium:
The Raiders selected Kasa in the sixth round of the 2013 draft, and he appeared in every game in his rookie season, recording only one catch, a nine-yard touchdown reception in Week 17 against the Broncos.
The former Colorado Buffaloes star missed all of 2014 after suffering a torn ACL.
This move to bring Kasa on board won't mean much in the grand scheme of things when the Broncos face the Carolina Panthers. Owen Daniels and Vernon Davis will maintain both tight end spots and are both healthy up to this point.
