Oakland Raiders Shouldn’t Consider Signing Josh Freeman

The rumors may be swirling about Josh Freeman heading to the Oakland Raiders, but the team shouldn't consider signing the controversial quarterback based off their current situation at the position.
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times tweeted that the Raiders had a legitimate interest in the former quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
A recent report by Paul Gutierrez from ESPN.com explained that Greg Olson, the Raiders' offensive coordinator, is still a fan of Freeman:
“You know, I’ve always been a fan of Josh’s,” Olson said. “I have a lot of respect for him, as a person and a player, and it’s unfortunate to me to watch what happened in Tampa … really over the last couple of years.” 

Olson was Tampa Bay’s quarterbacks coach and then offensive coordinator from 2008 through 2011, and the Buccaneers used their first-round draft pick, No. 17 overall, on Freeman in 2009.
