Ohio Bob Evans Puts Up ‘Jerome Bettis Eats for Free’ Sign, Might Regret It

A Bob Evans restaurant in Canton, Ohio, appears to have leveraged its assets and gambled the house.
Its risk: a sign high above the parking lot offering soon-to-be Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis free, presumably all-he-can-eat food.
ESPN's Trey Wingo posted a picture of the sign Friday. This is a cool, possibly financially ruinous move by Bob Evans:
It's unclear if Bettis, who's in Canton this week for Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, has heard about the offer yet, but I have no doubt he'll find the restaurant via social media or innate biscuit echolocation. I bet Bettis can sense a good biscuit from a quarter-mile away.
I'm jealous. I want free Bettis biscuits.

Dan is on Twitter. Open Bettis bar!
