The Philadelphia Eagles welcome the struggling Carolina Panthers to town for the finale to Week 10, a Monday Night Football showcase that was planned as a standoff between a pair of NFC contenders.
Cam Newton and the 3-5-1 Panthers have not upheld their end of the bargain, though.
Carolina's defense is a shell of the unit that led the team to 12 wins last season, while moving pieces around Newton has birthed an erratic attack at best.
Conversely, Philadelphia has six wins but is without starting quarterback Nick Foles, meaning Monday's affair will be unexpectedly competitive despite both team's current trajectories. It makes for what should be an offensive-minded affair to close out a stellar week of action.
 
Sustainability
All teams suffer a wealth of injuries and shuffle other names into the lineups in an effort to keep things going at their current clip.
For the Panthers, though, the season has been a nightmare in this regard.
