Paul Kruger Cut by Browns: Latest Comments and Reaction

As part of the preseason roster trimming, the Cleveland Browns cut linebacker Paul Kruger on Monday.
Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer first reported Monday that Kruger would be part of the Browns' cuts as they get their roster down to 75 players, which Kruger later confirmed.
The 30-year-old Kruger had a precipitous drop in performance from 2014 to 2015. His 11 sacks two years ago were tied for 12th in the NFL. Last year, Kruger's 2.5 sacks were his fewest in a season in which he played all 16 games.

The Browns haven't made the playoffs since 2002, and they finished 3-13 last season. In August, B/R's Justis Mosqueda predicted the Browns would finish 6-10.
