Perfect Storm Continues in Round 2 For 49ers

The 49ers filled another need with the Best Player Available at the 49th pick.
Taylor Mays is a solid second round pick and adds a second big hitter to the starting safety duo anchored by Goldson.
Taylor Mays athleticism will add much needed speed to the 49ers secondary and his sheer athleticism will be on display as he learns the finer points of the game.
Furthermore, the 49ers have answered their division rival Seattle Seahawks by this Safety pick.  Earl Thomas will be a ball hawk for the Seahawks while Mays will be a head hunter for the niners. 
Okung is a hell of a LT and the 49ers matched it with Davis and Iupati and the 49ers are now keeping pace with the Seahwks on both the line and the backfield.
Don't put pressure on Mays though to be Ronnie Lott just because they both went to USC.  No one is like Ronnie Lott and never will be.
