Pete Carroll: Seattle Head Coach Stress Importance of Running Game Against Bears
Pete Carroll just oversaw a big upset win by his Seahawks over the New Orleans Saints.  This week, he's faced with another daunting task of pulling off another big win.
While some point to the quarterback position to make a difference in the football game, the Seattle Times is saying it could very well come down to the running game because of the cold wintry weather in Soldier Field.
According to the Seattle Times: "...the run game can be a trump card in the playoffs. And with the temperature not expected to rise much above 20 degrees in Chicago and the field as slippery as any in the league, the game could very well be decided on the ground."
"This game, this week, this is why football teams talk about the need to run the football," coach Pete Carroll told the Times.
