Tim Tebow performed much better than his critics expected him to over the course of his first three starts in the NFL.
Even as many continue to hope for his failure, Tebow's persona has begun to move toward mythical status at a very early point in his career.
While he's still far from being proven as an NFL quarterback, he has at least provided Denver Broncos fans with a ray of hope following a season that was mostly terrible.
He showed that he is a natural leader, can make plays with his feet, and most importantly, that he can make plays with his arm (something most "experts" said he'd never be able to do).
He still has a lot of growing to do. For example, he needs a lot of work on recognizing defenses, and he also needs to improve his accuracy on medium and deep passes.
That being said, at this point, no one should doubt that he has the desire and intangibles necessary to help him develop into a great quarterback.
