Peyton Manning: Making the Case for Broncos QB to Win MVP

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is no stranger to the NFL's MVP award, or any other awards really, but that doesn't make him any less deserving.
Everyone is aware of Manning's nearly career-ending neck injury that kept him out all of 2011. Due to the severity of that injury, not even the most optimistic of analysts expected this production just one year later.
Not only does "The Sheriff" look like his former self, he arguably looks his sharpest in years. Manning has 30 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions with his new team, with a near 70 completion percentage to boot.
Those numbers put the QB just three touchdowns away from his season total in 2010 and seven interceptions behind his output that same year.
Manning has always been one to rack up the impressive stat sheet, but let's shift focus to what the "V" in MVP stands for.
