Michael Vick is the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles… “Until further notice”. That’s the story on this Tuesday full of news. What a day. Kevin Faulk, and Jerious Norwood land on the IR, Kenny McKinley was found dead (R.I.P.), Reggie Bush has a fractured fibula, Larry Johnson was waived, and Braylon Edwards received a DUI at 5:15 in the morning. My twitter has been going off the charts full of this information, most of it redundant. Perhaps the day isn’t exciting, more like depressing, except for Michael Vick fans.
The decision to start Vick came late Tuesday, after many people began banking on Kevin Kolb starting Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. The media was informed that Vick was “OK” with his role, and will do whatever it takes to help his team win. Well, not he can do all of that ON the field in Philly.
