Philadelphia Eagles: How Much Should We Read Into the Result of the First Game?

There’s no hiding it, the young Eagles team will be tested right out of the gate. Many people have questioned how the Eagles will perform this year. Will some questions be answered come Sunday? Definitely. However, I think people shouldn’t be too quick to judge the outcome of Sunday’s game.
Let’s look at the worst case scenario first. What happens if the Eagles get absolutely throttled on Sunday? The boo birds will be out, and everyone will start to get worried. There will be cries that this team is awful and that the season is going to be a train wreck. It’s inevitable. That’s just how Eagles fans are. However, I don’t think that’s a fair mindset to have.
