Philadelphia Eagles Strong Safety Quintin Mikell and the 2011 NFL Combine

With the potential that starting strong safety Quintin Mikell may depart from Philadelphia, the Eagles need a strong showing from literally last line of defense at the combine.
Did they get it?
Nope!
According to Mike Mayock of the NFL Network, there wasn’t a single safety that really stood out from the rest. “This is a real bad safety group” were his exact words in response to a question asked by National Football Post’s Aaron Wilson.
National Football Post Director of College Scouting Wes Bunting confirmed Mayock’s reaction to the safety class saying, “Brutal safety class… can anyone run?” He went on further to say that he didn’t feel as though none of the players anticipated to be selected in rounds one through three stood apart from each other.
