Philadelphia Eagles: Taking a Closer Look at the Battle for the NFC East

Coming into the 2010 season, there weren’t many people who thought the Eagles would be 8-4 at this point. However, there are a lot of things that happened so far this season that no one could have seen coming.
With the Eagles' current standing, they have a great shot at heading into the playoffs as the NFC East champions. It’s still a two-team race, though, so let’s take a closer look at how things might play out over the next month.
First, let’s take a look at the remaining schedules for both the Eagles and Giants.
Philadelphia Eagles
12/12 – at Dallas Cowboys (4-8)
12/19 – at New York Giants (8-4)
12/26 – vs Minnesota Vikings (5-7)
1/2 – vs Dallas Cowboys (4-8)
New York Giants
12/12 – at Minnesota Vikings (5-7)
12/19 – vs Philadelphia Eagles (8-4)
12/26 – at Green Bay Packers (8-4)
1/2 – at Washington Redskins (5-7)
Both teams will have to play each other...
