Philadelphia Eagles: Taking a Look at the New Non-Rookie Additions

When people talk about new players on the Eagles roster, they tend to focus mostly on the rookies. The rookies have been impressive, but let’s take a look at some of the other new additions to the roster that aren’t on the rookie level.
J.J. Arrington
I was surprised when the Eagles made a move for Arrington. They already had a solid competition for the third running back position and decided to throw him into the mix. The other guys in the competition are young, so it’s nice to add a veteran in there.
Arrington is dealing with some injuries right now and that isn’t helping his case very much. We’ve also seen some good running by Eldra Buckley and Martell Mallett. A roster spot for Arrington definitely isn’t a lock, but I wouldn’t say he’s completely out of it yet.
