Philadelphia Eagles: The Heat Is on Stacy Andrews

So the time has come for the Eagles to say goodbye to Shawn Andrews.
The Philadelphia Eagles have released the former two time Pro-Bowler and one time First-Team All-Pro Andrews after missing the last two seasons due to injury and depression.
The Eagles have decided to stop wasting their time and money on Shawn, who was the Eagles first round draft pick (16th overall) in the 2004 draft. Andrews commented on his Twitter earlier today saying "Bye Bye Birds," but I'm going to flip his own Twitter remark and say "Bye Bye Shawn!"
You were once great and now, well that's up for debate. Is it possible he just wanted to get out of Philadelphia?
If he did, he went the wrong way of making his exit.
Andy Reid commented today on Shawn's departure saying, "We appreciate the efforts and contributions of Shawn while he was in Philadelphia."
Reid then stated, "We have, however, decided to move in another direction."
