Philadelphia Eagles To Interview Dennis Allen for Defensive Coordinator Position

There is a new name in the search for the Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator and that name is Dennis Allen.
Jay Glazer of Fox Sports initially reported that the Eagles have received permission to interview New Orleans Saints defensive backs coach Dennis Allen.
Allen, who is 38 years of age, has spent the last five seasons with the Saints, coaching both the defensive line and defensive backs positions. He has experience teaching two areas of need for the Philadelphia Eagles, and if the Andy Reid can figure out a way to keep his current defensive backs coach Dick Jauron on the payroll, things could be very interesting.
He and Jauron could improve the caliber of the Eagles secondary to heights not yet seen by Philadelphia fans.
