The Philadelphia Eagles take their history-making act to legendary Lambeau Field, where the Green Bay Packers are hoping to keep the ship afloat until their Most Valuable Player returns. It’s an interconference battle with potentially enormous postseason implications.
Coming off an NFL record-tying seven touchdown passes in one game, Nick Foles will attempt to keep the Birds offense moving—and in the process cement himself as the No. 1 signal-caller for the City of Brotherly Love. He’ll be spared a head-to-head with one of the league’s most prolific passers in Aaron Rodgers, who is out indefinitely for the Green and Gold after suffering a broken collarbone last week.
The Pack may have a 5-3 record, but they run the risk of falling behind in the playoff race as long as Seneca Wallace is under center. With a mark of 4-5, meanwhile, the Eagles could insert themselves into the wild-card picture with a W over one of the NFC’s heavyweight contenders.
