The Eagles are looking to get back to .500 in Tampa Bay on Sunday, but likely without Michael Vick under center. The Buccaneers, meanwhile, are still searching for their first victory of 2013 here in Week 6.
With Vick battling a hamstring injury, the 2-3 Eagles are expected to turn to second-year quarterback Nick Foles. During last week’s 36-21 win over the Giants, Foles completed 16 of 25 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns in a relief appearance, sparking some talk of controversy in Philadelphia. Foles was narrowly beaten out for the job in training camp, and should he perform well again, the drumbeat will only grow louder.
