Andy Reid is not afraid of hiring big-profile coaches to his staff. From Dick Jauron to Bobby April, Reid feels an excellent coaching staff translates to great success on the field for his players.
Well, if this is what Andy Reid believes, he should not be hesitant in hiring Mike Singletary to coach his young but talented group of linebackers.
Singletary was relieved of his duties by the 49ers for his handling of team, especially quarterbacks Alex Smith and Troy Smith.
Singletary proved he cannot lead a football team, but that does not mean he cannot handle a group of linebackers. In fact, Singletary's addition could transform our young linebackers.
If you doubt Mike Singletary's effect on linebackers, just look at the best linebacker in the game: Patrick Willis. Willis even admits Singletary's transformed him into an All-Pro linebacker. He was taught the fundamentals of the game and the necessary skills to become an elite linebacker.
