Pierre Garcon: Fred Davis and Santana Moss Must Step Up in Star’s Absence

Pierre Garcon has battled health issues all season long, and as a result the Washington Redskins need Fred Davis and Santana Moss to step up in a big way to continue to help fill the void.
Per ESPN.com, Garcon is listed as doubtful for Sunday's showdown with the New York Giants, but even when he's been on the field, the Redskins receiver hasn't produced much. Garcon has played in just three games this season.
After a stellar Week 1 performance with four catches for 109 yards and a score, Garcon has either been off the field or non-existent when he's on it. Clearly this is a nagging injury that isn't going away anytime soon and is affecting his performance on the field.
It's no coincidence that two of Robert Griffin III's best games passing this season have come when Garcon took the field. Not only does Garcon afford Griffin III the ability to make big plays, but the star receiver also draws extra attention from defenses, which helps give extra space to RG3...
