Pittsburgh Steelers: Could Mike Wallace Replace Santonio Holmes?

With Santonio Holmes’ latest two legal incidents still under the NFL microscope, one member of the Pittsburgh Steelers has a chance to step up big time and knock the former Ohio State receiver back to the ground.

His name?

Mike Wallace.

With talks of an NFL imposed suspension (and possibly a Rooney imposed one) still going on over Holmes’ questionable Twitter habits, the second year receiver can show us all something we caught a glimpse of last year.

He could absolutely light it up and be the No. 2 receiver for the 2010-2011 season.

Sure, Holmes (along with Ben Roethlisberger) was the hero of Super Bowl XLIII but the NFL is a job where the phrase ‘What have you done for me lately?’ is known all too well by both players and coaches.
