Pittsburgh Steelers Receiver Santonio Holmes Receives Four Game Suspension

As if the Pittsburgh Steelers don't have enough headaches with star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his sexual assault allegations, they will now lose receiver Santonio Holmes to a four game suspension.
Holmes, 26, is best known for his heroic last-minute game-winning touchdown catch against the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII, when he won the MVP award.
Multiple media outlets including NBC and ESPN's Adam Schefter, are reporting that the Steelers where informed of the news late Friday afternoon.
It hasn't been made clear exactly why Holmes will be suspended.He may have failed a drug test or committed some other violation, such as missing a required test. According to the current policy, both are punishable with a four game suspension.
NBC is also reporting that internal NFL appeals process has not been finalized.
It is unclear what caused the suspension, but Holmes does have a history with marijuana. He was suspended by the Steelers for one gam...
