Pittsburgh Steelers: Taking a Look at Flozell Adams

Pittsburgh Steelers right Tackle Willie Colon is out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon.
The Steelers' search for a replacement may come in the form of former Dallas Cowboy Left Tackle Flozell Adams.
The 35-year-old 6-foot-7, 338 pounds five-time Pro Bowl blocker, was due a $2.5 million roster bonus in June and a $5 million base salary for the 2010 season. 
Jordan Woy, Adams' agent, said his client has other teams on his list, but for now the Steelers decided to take a look.
They say it's better to let a player go a year to soon rather than a year too late...
Adams played 11 seasons in Dallas. One can't help but wonder if the Cowboys let Adams go a year too early because of the $7.5 million.
In 2009, Adams participated in 1,081 snaps. He allowed 34 quarterback pressures and eight sacks. For the third consecutive season, Adams lead the Cowboys in penalties last season with 12.
